London has reinforced its world reputation as number one cultural and international centre by hosting the premier of Harry Potter theatre show at the renowned Palace theatre at the heart of the capital

As expected the cream of the celebrities from the world of politics, entertainment and sports were in attendance alongside J.K Rowling.

Other luminaries in attendance were  comedians Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, and London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan

This posed a unique security problem, given the nature of the event, the location and the current threat level.

SQR were the obvious choice to secure the event and were in full attendance with a large team of SQR trained close protection officer alongside of the co-founders of SQR Shai Slagter and Avi Navama.

The coordination and planning of such events are a key aspect of SQR’s expertise.

SQR’s inaugural course at centre of excellence

SQR security is pleased to announce the inaugural  close protection course at their new centre of excellence and head office .

The course that is 20 days long will see the candidates put through the paces in close protection theory and practice. They will also fly to Poland for firearm training and specialised self defence. A surveillance workshop and close protection in a mobile environment awaits them on return.

Operational planning and team work are corner stones of the SQR learning program which will be put into practice during the three live operations.

SQR’s close protection course is a regular host to international candidates  who  travel from afar to experience the unique SQR methods.
